Summer Homework Answer Key

Dear Students and Parents, 

Just a short note for now. I hope that you've had a fantastic summer and are well rested. It's time to get back into the routine of waking up early.
Avoid the back to school blues by setting the alarm clock a little earlier every day.  

I am posting a link to the answers for the Summer Reading Homework. Please feel free to check your answers before handing them in on the first day. This will count toward your final grade for Grade 6. 

If you have misplaced your Summer Homework, download and it HERE. Print it out and do the reading and writing parts. 

You can still click on the links to all the glogs, as I will not be deleting this blog. 

If you need to get hold of me, you can leave a post in the comment section below and I'll get back to you.

While I will not teach Grade 6 next semester, I trust that the students will continue to excel, put into practice what they have learned and exceed all expectations in the new school year.

Happy Dragon Boat Festival!

Dear Parents and Students,

We are reaching the final stages of this semester and we are all feeling the stress of the exams and the excitement of the summer break. We are also looking forward to a well-deserved break on the long weekend for some and maybe some catch-up time for others. 

The students have all the material they need to be successful academically but as usual it's ultimately up to them. 

Please note that Spellingcity.com is a free site for some of the activities but you can sign up for a month to access all the facilities for free. If you want to continue using the extra activities, you will need to pay for them.
The glogs are still available for students to practice and review.

Sweet Surprises!

Dear Parents and Students,

 This week being a really long one, due to the Saturday classes, please make sure that your child gets enough sleep and remind them that manners are still required. There is no real excuse for bad manners.

Spelling

 A few of our students need to learn the words for the spelling part of the quiz to improve their grades as this part is really easy to do. Even though I have provided access to the link for the spelling words on Spellingcity.com, they are not using it to review.  

Exam Scope

As you already know we are flying towards the end of the semester. Even though I have posted this already, the Exam scope will be as follows:
